Nestled in idyllic Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Dawn Wind Morgan Ranch encompasses 50 acres of upland and bottomland pastures, irrigated fields and a native grass hayfield. The McDermott Family's Morgan horses live as naturally as possible, with year-round pastures and are always barefoot. We believe in whole-horse health; physically, emotionally, and mentally.

2009 has been an inspiring year for us. Two mares went to new homes, which were both perfect matches. Cutnspin Natural Wonder went to Charlotte Jabaay, and Dawn Winds Desert Gem went to Jeff and Karyn Johnson. We are so happy about both!

We have three good stallions standing at stud for 2010. We have already picked out mares from our band and others to come to these foundation Morgan stallions. The fees will be very low until our nation's economy strengthens. We are able to ship semen.

Also, in 2010 we will be riding and driving our stallions, as well as starting three-year-old fillies. Come visit and see the progress.
